Welcome to the website for MDS Limited – a wholesaler & manufacturer of some of the Country’s most authentic period hardware. We have a long experience of supplying the country’s leading retailers of reclaimed and reproduction hardware products and over this period the name of our company has become synonymous with phrases such as ‘quality’, ‘attention to detail’ and ‘value’. We intend continuing this tradition in everything we do and firmly believe that the quality of our products will be remembered, long after the price is forgotten.

We pride ourselves on the fact that the designs of all our products are very firmly based on those of bygone eras – products that would otherwise rarely be available for purchase. To ensure quality levels are maintained we use only the best quality raw materials and highly skilled labour who are well conversed in using methods of casting that go back generations – methods such as lost wax and hot stamping, which provide consistently high levels of detailing.

We go to great lengths to replicate the period look of items – individually hand ageing products where appropriate. We also make them simple and easy to install – providing fitting instructions and templates were necessary, together with all fixings.

Over the last few years we’ve extended our range of finishes, in response to customer demand – this now includes nickel plating (some aged and some bright) of all our brass products. This finish appeals particularly to those customers who are looking to bring their period homes into the 21st Century, whilst retaining its period character.If you need help and advice in making your choice, or need to clarify anything, simply e-mail or phone us and we’ll do our best to help.

Please note that our brassware is NOT lacquered. This allows it to age naturally over time, giving an antique appearance.

We carry large stocks of door furniture and in most cases can guarantee next day delivery, for all orders received before 11.00am.
